To meet the needs of our team, mountain guides and serious urban explorers CL95TECH®  is used to provide tough, extremely breathable, waterproof and windproof protection in the harshest conditions imaginable. CL95TECH is engineered specifically for the intense work/rest cycles in urban terrain by using a new membrane to efficiently regulate temperature and moisture during climbs and descents.
 
MICROGRID BACKING TECHNOLOGY
This technology improves garment comfort and performance using and innovative patent pending internal backer fabric. This technology improves internal abrasion and snag resistance allowing it to easily slide over layers, enhances garment breathability and decreases garment weight.
 
FLANNEL BACKER
The Flannel backer is laminated on the inside of our CL-95 3L products to improve garment comfort and performance by adding warmth and reducing noise.
 
Insulation
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation is used in your jackets‚ pants‚ gloves‚ hats and boots to help keep you warm when it’s cold outside. The unique microfibers or fine fibers that make up Thinsulate insulation work by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space‚ the better it insulates you from the cold outside air. Because the fibers in Thinsulate insulation are finer than the fibers used in most other synthetic or natural insulation‚ they trap more air in less space‚ which naturally makes Thinsulate insulation a better insulator. So we haven’t repealed the laws of nature with our thin insulation; we’ve simply improved them…to help keep you warm.

CL95TECH® fleece has a lofted fiber structure that creates thermal air pockets to prevent convective heat loss and regulate core warmth. This breakthrough design construction provides the highest warmth per weight ratio for insulating materials while remaining highly weather resistant, durable and soft to the touch.
A soft double-sided face gives fleece the versatility to integrate with layered systems, whether worn directly against the skin or on top of other fabrics. The hydrophobic properties further enhance the inherent ability to repel water, resist saturation and dry quickly.
